When not working on location Robert works in the private studio adjoining his residence on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

His work is diverse in both subject matter and in the mediums he uses. 

Although recognised for his outback Australian themes, Robert has enjoyed extensive travel in Europe and Asia and many of his more recent works are testament to the versatility and depth of his abilities.
