Misha's current range of paintings has proven to be his most popular offering in over 50 years of artistic expression.
Misha was born in Yugoslavia in 1948 and began to draw literally as soon as he could hold a pencil.
His creative efforts continued after moving to Australia in 1959 and led to formal training at Swinburne Technical College in Melbourne.
The learning process has continued to this day and has been in the more pleasant surrounds of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland for the last 20 years.
Misha has explored a wide range of mediums and subjects and is currently working mainly with acrylics on canvas, which he uniquely applies using a palette knife with little or no brush work at times.
This technique has given a very distinctive, semi-abstract treatment to some of his more recent compositions.
Misha's work has been exhibited in various galleries in Australia and is proudly displayed in the homes and offices of many local and international customers.
His current paintings do not require framing, since the images are painted around the edges of the canvas on all sides.
Although most people have chosen to hang them as they are, some have framed them - it's up to you.
Virtually all of Misha's work is sold through the famous Eumundi markets on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
His art is displayed at these markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so if you're in the area, come by to meet the artist and see the latest work.
