.Larian was born in Grafton, N.S.W in 1952 and went to live in Papua New Guinea becoming one with the people and culture. Larian moved back to Australia after 20 years with her own family and took up a gypsy life travelling around Queensland letting her mind be fueled with the sights of nature. When moving to Maleny she decided it was now her time to put all her minds fuel to paper and canvas
Larian has many achievements too many to name but some highlights are :-
Travelling exhibition "Portrait of Australia '91" , member of the Black Possum Publishing co. with sketches in diarys, champion and prize winning of art shows from outback Qld to outback N.S.W., Australian Pasellist Of the Year members incentive of the year award, Solo and joint exhibitions in Australia and South korea. Features in magazines AUSTRALIAN ARTIST, and LOCATION ESSENTIALS. She also had a Exhibition with Moroccan Artist Redouane Bernaz.
Recently Larian has had her paintings included in a Documentary called "PEACE OF GREEN - A CORNESTONE OF A COMMUNITY with film producer/writer Jill Morris from Greater Glider Productions.
She was asked to exhibit in a coffin Exhibition, Painting a coffin and did so with her tribute to Queensland artist Vida Lahey
Larians work is very diverse and she enjoys the challenges of every day life
