Larian was born in Grafton N.S.W. in 1952 and went to live in Papua New Guinea with her family where she did most of her growing up. She returned to Australia with her own family in 1973 where she led a gypsy life travelling around Australia collecting images of Life in Australia.Moving to Maleny in 1988 , the children grown up, she decide now was the time to put all her minds fuel to paper and canvas.
Her paintings have won many a prestige art award including Champion of shows from outback Qld to outback N.S.W., australian Pastellist of the year members incentive award , featured in magazines eg: Australian artist , and has work featured in private collections throughout Australia, England, Germany , Japan, Brazil, Canada, and South Korea.
She has exhibited with Moroccan artist Redouane Bernaz, has had solo and group exhibitions in Aust. and overseas. Larians work was featured in the documentary "PEACE OF GREEN - CORNERSTONE OF A COMMUNITY" with film producer/writer Jill Morris and Greater Glider Productions, Recently she has been involved in COFFIN ART EXHIBITION.
