Australian artist Kay Frances works from her studio in a coastal town in Northern NSW. Outside she creates 'ephemeral sculptures' 'made from palm leaves, and other organic matter that appear and disappear over time.
In her paintings, she uses mixed media, textured art which is semi abstract or abstract. Many of Kay's paintings are of landscapes, seascapes, and of a contemporary design; bringing the beauty and serenity of the natural world and the joy of colour into homes and workspaces.
Her work is influenced by the experiences of living in both Egypt and Bulgaria, and in 10 years has held 7 solo exhibitions, and numerous group shows, in Cairo, Sofia, Barcelona, and Sydney.
