Brian Kennedy....

As a teenager making his way in the world in the 1950's Brian carried a box of watercolours with him.

Brian had decided the record the world as he saw it instantly with his main focus being the bygone era of railways, steelworks, sugar mills, blacksmith shops and urban landscapes he saw.

A successful exhibition in 1968 resulted in Brian's work receiving global recognition when several of his works made their way overseas!

Brian has travelled the world many times during his career as an educator visiting many countries as well as publishing books on Irish history.

Brian has two degrees: Bachelor of Business and Master of Education.

As an artist, author, craftsman and educator Brian is energised by all of his creative endeavours. He regularly exhibits at the Royal Queensland Art Society at Broadbeach. His art ranges from traditional landscapes and seascapes through semi-abstraction to complete abstraction based on historical or industrial subject matter.
